Pricing calculations for smaller diamonds and deciding on

Do you have a pricer for .01 sized to 0.4 sized diamonds? Also when looking at diamonds which are very small sized eg .01 or .001, to balance a budget, is it better to concentrate on colour quality (higher grading) or clarity (VVS1 or VS1). How can one decide?

What gives a yellow tinge to the diamond? Is it that it is of poor clarity?

Answer

We do not have prices for such small incremental weights.

When looking for the smaller diamonds, always get the best color you can afford - and clarity grade SI1 (as that is what the eye can see).

The yellow tint of a diamond does not come from clarity but actually the color.
